Public Transport

You can also catch a train from Sydney to bypass all the traffic and enjoy a very scenic trip along the Hawkesbury River up to the Hunter Valley area.

You want to get to Fassifern Station, which all trains going to Newcastle will stop at. Once there one of the locals can pick you or your group up. The train ride takes approximately 2 hours from Central station.

If you wish to get public transport all the way to the course, get off the train at Morisett or Fassifern station and catch a Bus to Rathmines. Route 275 will get you there, but check the link below for the timetables.
