Coolangatta Estate offers a unique experience. Taste estate-grown wines from the cellar door, stay in the convict-built cottages, stroll through the historic grounds, enjoy the views and fresh local produce in the restaurant.
Alive with history, the original convict-built village is now surrounded by sprawling vineyards and landscaped grounds. The 9 hole disc golf course utilizes the retired ball golf course, taking advantage of the spectacular coastal views, existing vegetation and rolling green foothills of the estate. The trees are predominantly stands of Willows and She Oaks. There are also ponds which are home to native ducks (and disc golf hazards).
Other activities onsite include Segway tours and a 4WD monster bus ride to the top of Mt. Coolangatta. The course is currently open weekends and school holidays from 10am to 2pm. Opening hours are expected to vary according to demand. A manned hut handles Segway tours and course fees, disc sales/rentals and refreshments.
The Disc golf course at Coolangatta Estate was established in 2016 and is a pay to play course.
